"Away From Me" is the tenth track on Evanescence's demo album, Origin.

Background

The song was written by Amy Lee, David Hodges, and Ben Moody, and Hodges sings backup vocals. Will Boyd plays bass on the song. It was his second appearance on an Evanescence record without being a member. (The first was "Solitude" from the band's 1998 self-titled EP.)

The song fades into "Eternal."
