BMG is an international music company based in Berlin, Germany. It combines the activities of a music publisher and a record label. Evanescence and Amy Lee release music independently under exclusive licence to BMG after their contract with Wind-Up Records ended in 2014.[1] They have a distribution deal with BMG. Their back catalogue is owned by The Bicycle Music Company since October 2013,[2] but in 2015 it was merged with Concord.
The band's first release under this label was Synthesis,[3] followed by their cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" in 2019. Their fifth studio album, The Bitter Truth, was released in March 2021.
