Bigwig Enterprises is Evanescence's former label based in Arkansas, USA, founded by Brad Caviness. They published and manufactured the 2000 demo album, Origin, and in 2001, the band signed over to major label Wind-Up Records.[1] Origin was out of print after the band signed to Wind-Up.[2] "My Immortal" is the only master recording from Origin that Wind-Up issued, with the addition of strings, being placed as track #4 on the band's debut album, Fallen.
The label helped the band to release and distribute their very first EPs, 1998's Evanescence EP and 1999's Sound Asleep.[3] It planned to release a rarities compilation album with their "early works", but it was abandoned due to the band's contract with Wind-Up.
