Evanescence (also known as the “Exodus EP”) is the first EP released by Evanescence (Amy Lee and Ben Moody) in 1998, with Bigwig Enterprises credited as distributor. It was released by Amy and Ben as a printed CD-R on December 29, 1998. Only 100 copies of the EP were made. It sold out on January 2, 1999 at a concert at Vino's, a brewpub in Little Rock, Arkansas.[2] The EP was supposedly going to be a demo album entitled Vanish, but the title was scrapped when nearly half of the tracks were omitted.[1]
