Paul McCoy (born September 7, 1981) is an American musician. He is the lead singer and main-songwriter of Louisiana post-grunge band 12 Stones. He also went on to lend his amazing voice to Evanescence in the song "Bring Me To Life".

Biography

McCoy grew up in Florence, Mississippi, until December 1991 when his family moved to Slidell, Louisiana. He became a Christian later in life. While in 5th grade, they moved to Mandeville, Louisiana, where he stayed there for the rest of his education and where his parents still live. He was signed to Wind-Up Records less than 15 months after his senior year at Fontainebleau High School. He provided guest vocals in the Evanescence song "Bring Me To Life" and appeared in the music video. The song later went on to win a Grammy Award in 2004.
