"Sally's Song" is a song featured in the Tim Burton film The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is the fourteenth track off the movie's soundtrack, which was released in 1993.
Amy Lee covered the song as part of the collaboration CD Nightmare Revisited. She performed it live with Tim McCord on bass and producer Will Hunt on drums on October 13, 2008 on Jay Leno. It was the first time she used her harp on a song and live performance. She performed it a second time on October 17 at the film's re-release in 3D at El Capitan Theater,[1] at Danny Elfman's request.[2]
The song was recorded in July 2008 at Will Hunt's studio in Fort Worth, TX.[3] Amy had full creative control, saying "there was no input or direction from anyone at Disney or the label."[2]
