Sex Type Thing is the debut single by the rock band Stone Temple Pilots in 1992, in their debut album Core. Evanescence covered the song in 2002 in the New Year’s Eve concert at Nitelife Rocks (a nightclub in Little Rock). This song, despite the title, is not about sex. It is about control, violence and abuse of power.
