"Where Will You Go" is the first track on the 1998 Evanescence EP. Another version with electronic effects was re-recorded for their 2000 demo record, Origin.
The original Evanescence EP version starts out with a slow mechanical tempo and features no guitars. The organ is the primary and only actual instrument used throughout this version of the song.
The Origin version uses electronic sound effects and has a quicker tempo, almost giving the song a dance-beat, with background organ sounds. The vocals on the Origin version are much smoother, and David Hodges also sings backup vocals on this version.
